Meany Hall, a cornerstone at the southwest corner of "Red Square" on the University of Washington campus, stands on the original site of the Alaska-Yukon Pacific Exposition of 1909. Nearly a century later, Meany Hall is recognized as one of the regions finest performing arts facilities.
The 1,210-seat hall is distinguished for its acoustically tuned auditorium, beautifully designed proscenium stage and superior sight lines. The auditoriums configuration provides an intimate view for the patron, and enhances the response-reactive relationships desired by performers.
