I was a high school foreign student (from France) to Iowa, and had my first audition there. I played with the Des Moines youth orchestra that year and met some fantastic musicians. It was one of the best experiences of my exchange, and gave me more confidence in my playing. |

| First memories of classical music: |
Listening to classical music was a Sunday morning ritual that my father had at breakfast. It seems that Sunday mornings aren't the same without the music, and it makes me think of him every time. |

Mozart's requiem always gives me chills. |

I started learning the violin when I was 14. Hard work and the love of music made it possible for me to be able to play well and enjoy music from the inside. It is never too late to learn to play. |
